Maimouna is a handicaped little girl living with her parents in a village situated in the interior part of Guinea. They live from traditional farming and breeding that give them an income around of US$370 per year. With this low income, they cannot satisfy their needs and somtimes the father took credits from the neighboring village. Due to her physical handicap she is not send to school. Her parents would like her to go to school in the future if chance is given. She’s simply dressed, enjoys playing with dolls next to her mother. At night, she sleeps in a bed under a mosquito net. She seems to be an intelligent and friendly girl. Sponsorship will certainly allow her to benefit a good healthy care and to go school in order to be a help to her community in the future.
