Shadrack -is a joyful boy who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana County. He is raised by his mother and father. Shadrack has two brothers and four sisters. They live in a palm thatched mud hut in a communal land. They fetch water from a community hand pump which is clean and safe for human consumption. However, the water is not enough for domestic use since it is depended on by many households in the community. His mother is the breadwinner of the family who depends on charcoal burning activity. However, the annual income generated from this economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to support family basic needs. His mother therefore decided to seek aid from the office. Shadrack is enrolled in a nearby school. He likes singing ABCE songs while his favorite game at home is playing with Tyre rolling and toy cars. His parents would like him to become a teacher in future and help other vulnerable people in the community. At home, Shadracks helps his mother to look after their little baby. Your support will bring a lasting change to his life and the family at large.
