How much do I have to donate every month to join the ChildFund Village?
Anyone can join our giving community, whether you donate $10 a month or $100.
How do I know my monthly donation makes a difference?
We’ll show you! Whether you’re checking your inbox, scrolling on social media or watching the latest episodes of our exclusive ChildFund Village video series, you’ll get regular updates from us on where and how your donations are being used to improve children’s lives.
What are my payment options?
Our monthly giving program uses auto-pay, meaning that after you make your first monthly donation, your gift will be auto-deducted from your account around the same time each month after that. (Don’t worry – you can cancel anytime if you change your mind!) We accept major credit and debit cards like Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AMEX, as well as electronic bank transfer – which is preferred, since it saves us credit card processing fees (meaning more money for children!).
How is joining the ChildFund Village different than sponsoring a child?
Monthly giving supports our general fund, which can be used flexibly to support children’s greatest needs anywhere and anytime. That’s why our ChildFund Village members are so critically important – they make everything we do for kids possible. Sponsorship, on the other hand, provides donors with a personal, one-to-one connection with a child, but monthly sponsorship donations can only be used within that specific child’s country.
How can I view my giving history and receipts?
To see a record of your donations, create an account on ChildFund.org by clicking “Account” at the top right-hand corner of the screen. Once you’ve created an online account, you can easily view your giving history and obtain your statements.
