Sponsor a Child in the Americas

Whether she’s growing up in an urban environment like Richmond, Virginia in the United States or a rural community in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, a child living in the Americas might be exposed to any number of issues related to poverty, from violence to hunger to racial discrimination.

ChildFund works to address the causes and effects of poverty in North, Central and South America by working with local partner organizations in seven countries – collaborating with local leaders, families and children to build programs based on what each community needs most. In some places, like Honduras, that looks like helping mothers learn about early childhood development, so Esdras can get his best start in life. In others, like Guatemala, that means designing new curriculums and teacher training to improve education. In others, like Mexico, that means working with national organizations to combat online sexual exploitation of children.

Check out the list below to see the countries in the Americas where ChildFund is working to help kids. No matter where you sponsor a child, you can be sure that your support will help them stay safe, healthy and learning.
