Shashel- is a playful girl who comes from the Northern part of Kenya, Turkana County. She lives with both parents. They live in a iron-sheets and mud-walled house in a communal land and they fetch water from the community hand pump. Her mother depends on making brooms and selling them. However, the annual income derived from this broom-making is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to support the familys needs. Her mother decided to approach the office to seek assistance. Shashel goes to a nearby school in the village and she performs better in mathematics and drawing. In addition, she loves playing rope skipping with her friends during her free time. Shashel aspires to be a nurse in the future. which will change not only her life but also that of her family members. Your sponsorship will be highly appreciated.
