This is Yeico. He grows up in a remote neighborhood of the city of Tarija where the dangers of urban poverty such as migration, child labor, gangs, domestic violence, and unemployment affect most residents. He is a lively, joyful and friendly boy who loves to play with puzzles. He enjoys school, especially his math classes. He wants to be a bricklayer when he gets older. He lives with his mom, stepfather and two siblings in a rudimentary small dwelling made of brick walls, cement floor and corrugated metal roof. While they have running water installed in their home, they lack proper sanitation services. The family income is around US $ 289.00 per month, which is minimal to cover the basics. Your sponsorship will give this child a healthy start in life and will support him as he learns and grows. Thanks to you, our programs will develop innovative solutions that meet unique needs of children and empower their communities as well.
