Abu Kumba is a smart little boy that hardly walks without wearing his old slippers. He is living with his parents and grandmother in a small village in the rural part of Sierra Leone. Abu has one brother two sisters only. The family dwells in a mud brick house that is roofed with old zinc. They have poor toilet facility and their daily water is pumped from an uncovered local water well that is not safe for drinking. His father is a local black smith and the mother a house wife that sells pepper on market days. Their combined monthly income is US$30 which hardle addresses the basic needs of the family. They live on a single meal a day. Abu is in schhol and loves football playing with friends.
