Damar is now attending preschool, loves playing with car toys and drawing in his spare time. He lives with his parents and his older sister in Central Java, Indonesia. The family lives in a simple house in a farm area made of brick walls and tile roofs with no proper sanitation facility and lack of clean water in the area. His father is a traditional farmer who works every day to optimize the yield once the harvest season comes, while his mother is a housewife who is unskilled and its difficult for her to find a good job to help increase family income. Their income only comes to around US$ 34.00 per month, which is absolutely not enough to fulfill daily necessities and provide a good education for their kids. However, they know they have to provide more in order to create a future for the family. We are happy to include him in our family group where he will be loved and cared for through our programs and your thoughtful sponsorship. Your kind sponsorship will be a special experience, to help raise him in a good way and encourage him to fight to have a better life and brighter future.
