Yasas is a little mischievous boy who lives with his sister and parents in a beautiful village located in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. He enjoys making play houses, playing cricket and hide and seek and also riding bicycles with his friends. He loves to study Sinhala. As he is a helpful child he likes to helps his mother to sweep the house and gather firewood. His mother is a house wife and his father works as a Mason. He earns an annual income of around USD450/-. This small income is not sufficient for the day to day expenses of their family. They are fortunate to have their own house which has been built with cement blocks. As Yasas’s father’s income is insufficient to meet the requirements of the family, the children are deprived of nutritious food and other requirements. Your valued support will give hope to their poor lives and also help this child to enjoy some of the essential needs, as well as continue his studies successfully.
