Rodgers lives with his mother and grandmother after parents divorced. They live in one of the rural farming areas of Zambia. The Mother is a subsistence farmer who grow maize as their staple food crop however yields are most of the times low because of infertile soils as a result the Mother has resorted to  selling of vegetables at the local market to help her raise money for buying of other family needs. Because of this She decided to have Rodgers enrolled for sponsorship. Their annual income stands at about $350.. Rodgers is in his first year of pre- school. The boy enjoys learning drawing , tracing and playing hide and seek game with friends. Your support to Rodgers will bring joy to both the family and Rodgers.
