Dhaneesha is a lovely little healthy girl who enjoys singing very much. She lives with her parents in the central region of Sri Lanka. She helps her mom with cleaning the house. She loves the game “hide and seek.” Her mother is a full-time mom and father is a casual worker who helps people to carry loads. They struggle to ends meet. They live in a small house with cement walls, cement floor and roof with tin sheets. They have poor sanitary facilities. We do know that children from low-income families face challenges and lack nutritious food, suitable education, and good health. Economic hardships can actually alter a child’s health and mind. A capable child misses out the opportunities without support. Hope and opportunities are limited by hardship but your sponsorship will give this child an opportunity to break the cycle of hardships and make her confident for a prosperous future.
