Briton is an active and lively boy who lives in Turkana County in the northern part of Kenya. He lives with his mother and father. They live in a communal land in a grass thatched mud house. They get their water from a nearby river which predisposes them to waterborne diseases as the water is not clean. The mother is the breadwinner who depends on making and selling charcoal. The family’s annual income is less than $ 360 which is not enough to meet the family’s basic needs. His parents decided to seek further assistance in our office. Briton is enrolled in a nearby school in the community. His favorite subject is Mathematics and he enjoys counting, coloring and drawing. He likes to play football with his friends while at home. His ambition is to become an engineer when he grows up and help other people in his community. Briton helps his parents with light house chores such as fetching water and collecting firewood. Your support will bring a lasting change to Briton’s life.
