This little boy Ranuth is very fond of playing with his dolls, making play houses and playing cricket. He also loves to sing songs. Ranuth and his sister lives with their parents in their own half completed house located in a beautiful village in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. Their partially built house is constructed with cement blocks and the floor is of clay. The roof is covered with asbestos sheets. The family has access to proper sanitary facilities. However, they do not have electricity and obtain water from a common well. Ranuth’s father goes out to cultivate the land to generate an income for the family. He earns an annual income of around USD500/-. However, this poor income is not sufficient to provide the essential needs to his children. As such, the children and their parents live a very difficult life. With the rising cost of living, it is not possible for them to provide the children anything other than their day to day needs. Therefore, we extend an invitation to join hands in providing care for little Ranuth and his family. Your support will definitely be a blessing to little Ranuth and his family.
