Liv is a cheerful young girl who comes from the northern part of Kenya, Turkana County. She lives with her mother; father no sister and no brother. The family lives in a palm thatched mud house in a communal land. They fetch water from a community hand pump which is saline and scarce as it is depended upon by many households in the community. Her father is breadwinner of the family who depends on charcoal burning and brooms selling activity. However, the annual income derived from this economic activity is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to meet the familys basic needs. For this reason, her mother decided to approach the office to seek further assistance. Liv is not enrolled in school since she has not attained school going age. She likes playing with shakers and toy dolls. Her parents would like her to become a lawyer when she grows up and also help other vulnerable people in the society. Liv has not been assigned any house chores since she is still young. Your support will bring a lasting change to her life and the family at large.
