Rosario is a young boy who lives with his mom in a community located on the outskirts of Maputo city, the capital of Mozambique, in southern Africa. The region is characterized by a hot and dry weather almost all year round. Rosario and his family live in a self-built house with bare block walls, tin roof and a rough concrete floor. They have access to running water and electricity utilities, but above all, the living circumstance is one of dire poverty. He attends elementary school and aspires to contribute to society by being an electrician in the future. For fun, he plays basketball with friends. It turns out that his mother is an unemployed and can only help by trading small items in order to get by. This boy and his family have lack of money and face many problems to get food. The family income is very low. Rosario participates in the program where he will receive support in the areas of health, education, nutrition and recreation. We are hopeful that your sponsorship will enable this child to have adequate access to basic essentials and have a good future.
