Mariama is a joyful and lovely girl. She lives with her parents, siblings and other close relatives in one of the cities located in the central part of the country. Her father is a traditional farmer like most of the people living in this community. As for the mother, she stays at home to perform the house chores. The father manages to earn about US $ 1,300.00 from his crops. This annual income is hardly enough to take care of the family’s basic needs. Mariama is in kindergarten where she is doing well. After school, she enjoys playing the little mom with her dolls and other games with her friends. She is also helpful with small errands. Sponsorship would help this girl have a good education and succeed in life.
