Armindo is a little boy who lives in a community located in the southeast part of Africa, in the south of Mozambique. This region is characterized by a forest and a hot tropical weather, thats why the temperature is hot most part of the year. In the community of Armindo, people live on the basis of agriculture. Armindo only lives with his mother, two brothers and one sister and they live in their own house, where the walls are made of wood, it has thatched roof and a sand floor. This house is very small to all of them. Also, the house of this child needs a long maintenance due to the precariousness of the material used to build this house. The mother of Armindo is an unemployed woman, but she works as a farmer and thats why the family income is very low, having difficulties to have their basic needs met. Armindo doesnt go to school yet because he is too young, but he wants to be a teacher in the future. Armindo and his family believe that through ChildFund they will be able to have their life improved and have his dream come true. Armindo is a calm little boy who likes to play with sand, to draw, to sing and to walk.
