Ken young boy from Turkana County in Northern Kenya. He lives with both parent and two sisters. They live in a palm thatched house which leaks during rainy seasons and subjects children to cold at night and insect bites. The family draws water from a borehole and water is not safe for human consumption for the water is salty and this predisposes the child to waterborne disease. The parents are pastoralists and they keep indigenous sheep and goats for meat and milk production. To supplement their livelihood, the father collects and sells firewood and the mother is a weaver but the income they get is less than US $ 360 annually and the income is not enough to cater for the family basic needs. As a result, the father came to the office looking for assistance. Ken is not in school because he is not of school going age. His favorite game is playing football. But while at home he helps the mother by washing dishes and looking after young ones their goats. Your support will bring a lasting change to the life of this brilliant boy.
