Souleymane is a little boy living with both parents in a four room mud house in a far remote village of Toumania where electricity is lacking. The parents are traditional farmer and their yearly income is about $ 350. This little amount raised annually does not do much to meet all their basic needs. They obtain their drining and cooking water from the only locally dug well in the village also used by other households. They use fire wood to cook and oil lamp to light in the house. Their income only allow them to share two meals and get few clothes for the family members. Souleymane is a kind little boy who is in good health. However the parents would like to see him in school soon. He sleeps on a local bed with mosquito net. He likes playing with the rubber ball that his father bought for him. A kind help from a caring sponsor will enable the child to be educated in the future.
