Jorem lives in North Eastern part of Uganda with his parents. He has not started his education journey yet. He is a playful boy and becomes happy when watching the dog of the neighbor playing with the cows. They sleep in a one roomed grass thatched hut made of mud walls and wattle. His family depends on subsistence farming for survival, growing maize, beans, cassava tubers, sweet potatoes and vegetables. Much of what they produce is consumed at home while any surplus is sold off to get some income. Due to over cultivation coupled with unpredictable weather patterns, the family has seen a gradual decline in crop yields. The yields cannot sustain the family basic needs. With your kind contribution, his wellbeing and that of the family members will better.
