This little girl Tharindi is very fond of playing with her dolls just like other small kids. Tharindi and her brother lives with their parents in their own half completed house located in a beautiful village in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. Their partially built house is constructed with cement blocks and the floor of the house is concreted. The roof is covered with asbestos sheets. The family has access to proper sanitary facilities and use water from a neighbor’s well. However, they do not have electricity. Tharindi’s father goes out to cultivate the land to generate an income for the family. In addition, he also works as a Mason. He earns an annual income of around USD600/-. However, this poor income is not sufficient to provide the essential needs to his children. As such, the children and their parents live a very difficult life. With the rising cost of living, it is not possible for them to provide their essential needs. Therefore, we extend an invitation to join hands in providing care for little Tharindi and her family. Your support will definitely be a blessing to little Tharindi as well as her family.
