Naldo is a happy boy who lives in a small community located in the southeastern part of Mozambique. He lives with his grandmother and his aunt, who are farmers. They live from agriculture, and they consume part of their production and sell the other part so that they can buy other types of food, school material and clothes. Naldo is not living with his parents because they are separated. Naldo and his family live in a small house made of wood and concrete, and with zinc coating located in the rural area. To have access to water, they have to walk long distances. Naldo is a hardworking boy. He is in grade 5 and his favorite subject is Mathematics. On his free time, he enjoys playing football with his friends and listening to the music. Naldo also enjoys helping his family with the house chores. He washes the dishes, sweeps the yard and cleans the house. In the future, Naldo would like to become a policeman to save people in danger. They also believe that being part of the program from ChildFund will grant them a better future.
