Sandaruwan is a little child who loves make play houses and ride bicycles. He lives happily with his parents, in their own little house which has been partially constructed with wattle and sticks and it is located in a beautiful village in Moneragala district of Sri Lanka. Their floor is cemented and the roof is covered with zinc sheets. The family does not have a water sealed toilet and use water from a neighbor’s well. However, they have access to electricity. The child attends a local school and walks to school with his father. His father toils very hard and attends to his cultivation work and earns an annual income of around USD550/- while his mother attends to the house work, looks after her child and also helps his father with his work. Due to the small income earned by his father, the family lives a difficult life and they are unable to provide healthy meals to their child. Your valued support will give hope to their poor lives and also help this child to enjoy some of the essential needs that any child would like to enjoy and look forward to a bright future.
