Mariama is living with her parents in the remote village of Sorisakya situated in Kolente community where they dwell in a 2 rooms mud house. The family do not have access to electricity and clean water. At home they use hurricane lamps to light in the house at night. They are traditional farmers. With the $400 dollar that the father raises as annual revenue from his farming activities, not much can be done to meet the basic needs of the family. Mariama Cire is attending the preschool in the village. At home the child sleeps under a mosquito net. Often she likes playing with toys with her friends in front of their house. A caring sponsor will surely enable the child to grow up and have a better future.
