ChildFund Board of Directors Appoints New Members

Richmond, VA – Feb. 16, 2012– ChildFund International appointed four new members to its board – Jane Brown, Thomas C. Deline, Ariadna Rodriguez Hefke and Dr. Daniel Silva.

Jane Brown is a James L. Knight professor in journalism and mass communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. For three decades she has conducted research and written about the effects of the media on adolescents’ health and well-being.

Thomas Deline is an attorney with more than 25 years of experience in land development and commercial real estate. He is a past board member and past president of the Catholic Charities Samaritan House and currently serves on the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation Board.

Ariadna Rodriguez Hefke is vice president of global branding, advertising & digital initiatives at Bausch + Lomb with more than 15 years of experience in integrated marketing and advertising. She has served on several boards in Rochester, N.Y., including Rochester City Ballet, St. Ann’s Community and Children Awaiting Parents (CAP).

Dr. Daniel Silva is a partner of Silva Jáuregui, Morales de Murga y Asociados S de RL de CV, a Mexico City-based top management consulting firm. His 30-year consulting experience helped several companies and government institutions in Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil and the U.S. address strategic and organizational issues. Dr. Silva serves on various boards in Mexico including ChildFund Mexico.
