Ardyan and Yudis

With coloring items, vibrant string, some paper and bamboo, 12-year-old Ardyan successfully crafts one of his favorite toys: a kite
How It's MadeMaterials:- Bamboo
- Thin paper
- Glue
- Cutter
- Knife
- String or thread
- Coloring items

Directions:
- Cut two pieces of bamboo, the same length
to make two sticks half inch wide. - Smooth with sandpaper.
- Mark a point on one-third of the first stick
and at the center of the second stick. - Tie the two together at the cross section.
- Tie the thread at the four edges.
- Spread glue on the thread and the sticks.
- Place a thin piece of paper on the frame and
seit it correctly. - Cut the paper based on the pattern.
- Apply some glue at the border of the paper.
- Insert a string at the middle and bottom
of the kite. - Adjust the string according to the right measure.
- Color the kite as you like.

Yudis is an only child studying in the fourth grade of elementary school. He is 9 years old and his mother is active as the chairman of the Community Management Council in Wiradadi. His father is a snack vendor and often teaches his children to make toys, including a propeller.
How It's MadeMaterials:- Bamboo
- Thread

| Directions:- Cut a suitable sized bamboo for the outer sticks.
After cutting, make a hole in the middle. - Cut the other part of the bamboo into half and cut
each half into small pieces. Make them thin, giving oval edgesto them. - Make a stick from the other part of the bamboo for
the axis of the propeller. It should be able to fit inside the first piece of bamboo. - Make holes int he middle of the propeller to insert
thestick into. - Tie a thread on a stick inside the first bamboo and
match it with the distance of the hole. Pull at the end of the thread out of the hole. - Color of leave the natural color of the bamboo.
